Image 1 - Color

In this image color is the main element.  The trees in the background are in a warm light, which causes them to demand the viewers attention.  They advance themselves as the important part of the image, while the cooler colors of the bottom left corner, while being in the foreground of the frame, recede off to the side.  The warm colors give the background a sense of fantasy and make them looking exciting, while the cool blues in the corner seem plain.  It creates a divide between the two and really emphasizes the beauty of nature.They are a very friendly and inviting warm and suggest a sense of majesty and because of the contrast with the corner seem to be grander than they might actually appear in person.  The colors of the trees are also very saturated, which adds to it's fantasy like features, the colors just seem to pop towards the viewer. Also the left corner doesn't pop much like the trees because of the lack of value within it, the trees have a wide range of very bright to very dark, and those are often right next to eachother.  In the bottom left corner, the values are very mid tone, without much contrast.  Another reason it is visually less appealing than the trees in the background.
